Fresh Brewed Release Hop

It is release day at Fresh Brewed Designs and Summ....Summ.... Summertime! Wow, can you believe it's already July and that we just celebrated the 4th? You know what that means don't you?

Along with fun summertime activities with family and friends, it's time for another Fresh Brewed Designs blog hop with some fantastic fun images! We are so excited to share these with you and have lots of wonderful inspirational creativity along the way from our talented design team. These ladies are some of the best so be sure to leave them a comment with your appreciation of their efforts. If you have hopped here from the Fabulous Miss Kelly then you are on the right path, but if this is your first stop then it would be best to go back and start here at Stacy because leaving a comment on each blog that means one lucky person gets the opportunity to choose 3 images from the store and you certainly wouldn't want to miss out on that, now would you???

For my card I used Grace with Lollipop. Isn't she sweet? I paired her with some My Mind's Eye paper and sprinkle some cummer blooms around her. She is colored with copics.
Now, hop on over to the Amazing Tracey for the next exciting & wonderful creation that is in store for you.

We also would love to “catch” you displaying our badge on your blog...
and playing in our next challenge! Hope to see you there, now get a move on!

Fresh Brewed Designs Release Day

It is release Day at Fresh Brewed Designs if you joined me from the awesome Carolyn's blog then  you are on the right track. Sorry I was late to the party.

Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs is releasing some super cute summery images today and I used her Sunday Hannah for my card. Isn't she lovely? I colored Hannah with copics and paired her with some paper from my scrap bin. I used some K&Company paper lace and a lovely big flower. It is hard to believe it is summer already. It just seems like yesterday I was shoveling 16" of snow off the ground from a wild winter storm.

Thank you for stopping by today. Please visit the fabulous Tracy, she is next on the hop.

Freshly Brewed Challenges

Sorry for being late. I forgot to publish, instead I was still in draft.

Is it Friday yet? Well maybe it is just Wednesday but that means it is Freshly Brewed Challenges day. This is our third challenge and this one is really fun...okay they are all fun, but this week's theme is BYOC(Bring Your Own Coffee)! Of course if, coffee isn't your cup of tea then you can use a different beverage. Even though water is my favorite beverage coffee is my second.

For my card I used Heather's So Happy Together image. I love the stripes combined with the polka dots. I colored the cups up with my copics and paired it with some Basic Grey dp. I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #74 for the layout.

Please check out the amazing creations by rest of DT playing this week.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

It's a Celebration!!!!

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Four years ago today I was pregnant with my only daughter and counting down last few days to her due date of May 7th.  She actually arrived at 3 am on May 6th. So I guess when she gets older she can go from one party on Cinco De Mayo to her own birthday party.

More reasons to celebrate today is that Fresh Brewed Designs is releasing some fun Cinco De Mayo images AND it is the start of the Freshly Brewed Challenge blog. It is a weekly challenge blog and I hope you will get a chance to stop in and play with us.

This week's challenge is to make a celebration themed card.

We are having a hop this week that starts at 9am EST so that you can see many of the images being released in the shop today and there is a hidden prize on one of the DT blog so be sure to leave a comment.

My card uses one of the Fresh Brewed Designed Pinatas. Now you know how a Pinata prepares for a party. LOL. I colored this image up with copics and paired it with some fun K&Company paper. I also used the Sketch For You To Try #37 for the layout.

Here is the hop list(just click on the names to go to their blogs):

Barb
Catherine (Guest)

Fresh Brewed Blog Hop

Happy Monday all!!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I was going to have two cards for you today but time got away from me before I knew it. I spent the weekend doing some thorough spring cleaning and still have a lot to do. I'm tackling one room at a time and while it feels good to clean and organize...I feel like I need another weekend to recoup.

Today is Fresh Brewed Designs blog hop day and I'm your first stop. Heather has come up with a fun new line of images called Fun Foods. I used her lemon one on today's card. I knew as soon as I saw this image that I was going to pair it with this citrusy paper from K&Company. I used Sweet Sunday Sketch #60 for the layout.

I'd like to thank you for stopping by today. Your next stop is Stacy.

Chapter 4: Picturing Wonderland

"Thus grew the tale of Wonderland:Thus slowly, one by one,
Its quaint events were hammered out -And now the tale is done,
And home we steer, a merry crew,
Beneath the setting sun.

Alice! a childish story take,
And with gentle hand lay it were Childhood's dreams are twined.
In Memory's mystic band,
Like pilgrim's wither'd wreath of flowers
Pluck'd in a far-off land..."

We have another sketch Challenge today, this time brought to us by our very own Pam Varnell! Pam created this sketch JUST for the Oh, Alice! DT blog and it just reminds me of Wonderland itself!

Now here is this week's Sketch:

and my card...

My card uses a Fresh Brewed Designs image by the fabulous Heather. This mad hatter is colored with copics and paired with some Doodlebug glittery polka dot paper and Sassafrasslass.

Please join me on Monday, March 15th for a Fresh Brewed blog hop that will surely be a FUN time and be sure to check out the rest of the Oh, Alice DT.

Inspirational Card Sketch #56

Happy Tuesday all!!! You know what that means? It isn't Monday...sorry bad joke. What it really means is that we have a fabulous new sketch from Dawn at Inspirational Card Sketches. For my card I flipped the sketch on it's side and used Surfer Tommy by Heather at Fresh Brewed Designs. The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm My Guy Ian Set. I colored Tommy with copics and tried a cloud technique that Sandra at Paperfuntastics does for clouds. She cuts a cloud like scallop out on a sticky note and either sponges or watercolors arounds the edges. I used distress ink for mine. I think it is a great technique that adds a little more interest to the background. The designer papers are from K&Company. This week our prize sponsor is Whimsy Stamps. Be sure to check them out.

Here is my card for last week's sketch. Our DT and prize sponsor was Sew Many Cards. Isn't this a sweet image? This is actually going to go to a co-worker who just had a baby girl a couple of weeks ago. For this card I used papers from an old Debbie Mumm stack when I thought I was going to do a baby scrapbook for my daughter...she is three now and I have yet to make a page.

Please visit the rest of the DT to see some more wonderful inspiration with this week's sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Fresh Brewed Designs Blog Hop

Happy Wednesday all and welcome to the Fresh Brewed Designs blog hop. If you would like to play along you can start from the beginning and find the full list at Heather's blog. If you have joined me from the fabulous Barb's blog then you are on the right track.

Heather is releasing some adorable images today in her Hanna Belle and Tommy line. What makes these so special is that her own children are the inspiration for the images. What a fabulous way to capture those memories don't you think? So in the making memories spirit, I took a picture of my 3 yo daughter coloring her image for today's hop. She has her own table, pencils, and a beverage to keep her energy up. Everyday when we get home from daycare she wants to put on her ballet leotard and skirt so I let her. She just looks too cute in it.

For my card I used Hannah Belle Artist. Isn't she adorable? I must admit that after I colored the art apron in cow print that I realized it was probably supposed to be paint splotches. LOL. I still think it turned out cute. I gave the card some SPICE by using some scraps from Sassafrass Lass and October Afternoon. I think the fun SL paper makes it look like she painted a whimisical wall. For my layout I used ICS #55.

Thank you for playing along in today's hop. I hope you have a wonderful day. Your next stop is the uber talented Carolyn.

Inspirational Card Sketch #51

Please scroll down for my day two TGF relay card and if you haven't done so already sign up for my The Greeting Farm blog candy located in my right sidebar.

Whooo...my second post for today. Dawn at Inspirational Card Sketches has given us another fabulous sketch to work with this week and I do hope you get a chance to play along. The week my friend and super talented Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs is our sponsor. She is also and ICS DT member. She has some uber cute images and this is one of them from her Fresh Brewed Shop.

This image is super cute but did give me a bit of a challenge when coloring the shell. I normally look for sections to color in that aren't too big for optimal blending but in the end I think it turned out pretty darn cute. I think I will be giving this to my 3 yo daughter for Valentine's. I know she will love that headband on the turtle. I turned to my scraps for the paper and PTI for the red cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by today and for more inpiraiton using today's sketch please visit the DT located in my left side bar. Have a wonderful day!

Inspirational Card Sketches #50

Happy Tuesday all! Dawn has really laid down a challenging but eye pleasing sketch fo ryou this week. I think I just about passed out trying to figure out how I was going to tackle those weaved strips and especially how to attach them without getting them stuck crooked. I finally decided it was best to not layer those strips. For my card I'm giving you a little sneaky peek at what Heather over at Fresh Brewed Designs will be releasing tomorrow. She is releasing Hannah Belles that is inspired by her very own adorable daughter. So be sure to join in on her blog hop tomorrow. There will be so much cuteness you won't be able to stand it.

For my card I used Birthday Hannah from FBD. I colored this cutie up with copics and the sentiment came from SU. The designer papers are from Basic Grey with the solids from PTI, Neenah, and Bazzill. The flower is a Jolee felt sticker. I used Inspirational Card Sketch #50 for the layout. I hope you can play along with us. Please check out what the rest of the DT did with the sketch. You can find them listed in my sidebar.

You will want to stop by here on Wednesday and check out the TGF blog candy I'm going to have for you to celebrate me becoming a farmer for 2010. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

We Are Family

I have to run out the door this morning, but not before I show you this cute image that was sent to me by the very talented and just the sweetest person Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs this week. I can't begin to tell you how overcome by emotions I was when I received this image. Why you ask? Because Heather drew this family up to represent my family. She even added on a little tutu onto the little girl snowman since she knows my daughter loves to do ballet. How could that not bring a tear to your eye? Heather has some exciting stuff going on today over at her blog so please be sure to visit her. Thank you for stopping by today and Happy Friday the 13th!

Fresh Brewed Designs Blog Hop

TGIF! Today is release day for Heather at Fresh Brewed Designs. Her latest line is called Angel Cakes. Isn't that such a sweet name? I used two of those angels on today's cards, Birthday Angel Cake and Daisy Angel Cake. I have some very special birthdays happening this month so these cards will be going to those girls.

For these cards I use copics for coloring. The first card uses Basic Grey DP and the second card uses K&COmpany DP.

Be sure to stop by all the blogs and leave a comment because Heather is giving away an image to one person on each blog AND a grand prize of 7 images to one lucky person. Thanks for stopping by and get hopping!

A Fresh Batch of Snowballs!

Hello all! I'm late in getting my post out...apparantly I forgot to set the post. Aren't these little snowballs too cute! Pretend Snowman was designed by the very talented Heather who is launching her new digi stamp company Fresh Brewed Designs. This is also her first blog hop for her company and I was sooo honored that she had asked me to join. She has some uber fun images so you need to go check her out and check out the rest of the hop gals to see more inpiration for this snow buddy line. For my card I kept it pretty simple, but that gorgeous designer paper is from K&Company Christmas collection. So it adds a lot of interest to the background. I also added the black ribbon with white polka dots to draw your eyes across the card. Only a little coloring required on this card and I did that with copics. You may have noticed the bottom snowball has on green gloves. Originally they were all going to have different gloves, but I was focused on coloring the gloves on the twigs and realized after I colored them that the arms belonged to different snowballs. LOL. The little guy on the bottom looks mischievous anyway so maybe it is good that he stands out a little more.

Please go and visit the rest of the on the hop because Heather is giving away a free image to one person on each blog and a grand prize of $20 to her shop. You don't want to miss out so get hopping! Your next stop Callie!

Let's Talk Turkey

So do you remember Far Side comics? Well My hubby had a whole slew of these t-shirts and one of my favorites is the scene of the Midvale school for the gifted with a kid pushing on a door that says pull. SO when I saw Heather asking for opinions on some of her stamps I immediately fell in love with this one because it just had that same look and I love hilarious images that are fun to color. Well imagine my surprise when a little while later I find this image in email to play with! I was ecstatic and could not wait to put him into a card...even though I had to wait to get other priorities out of the way. This is a digital image and it is available from Heather's new venture into her own shop called Fresh Brewed Designs. She really has fabulous images and many themed around the elixir of life...coffee. LOL.

For this card, I colored Tom up with copics and thought a clean design was called for to showcase the image. The DP is from K&Company fall papers. The sentiment is also digitally created. Can you believe I came up with those funny words? Hubby laughed when he saw it. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
