Guess the Feet Winners
I hope you all had a great weekend. My was super busy starting with Friday. We had our front door replaced on Friday(now I have some painting to do), I had a beginners digital photography class on Saturday, and then Sunday is always household chore day. I did manage to get a bunch of coloring done over the weekend. So once I get my images to cards I should pretty much caught up from what has been a very busy summer. And hear I thought I was going to be taking it easy. LOL. Of course now all the fall activities are just around the corner. I will be glad when fall gets here because I'm tired of these muggy 95+ degree days.
Well back to the winner of the blog candy from my blog: Spicy Cat Chick(doesn't that screen name just bring a smile to your face?) had this to say "What a FUN time, thanks for sharing. I love your card and think it's a hoot about the matching toes. As they say, great minds....okay, here's my guess to the BEAUTIFUL women to match up with their super cute feet:
1 – Kadie
2 – Mary
3 – Sandra"
Please contact me by clicking on that "Contact Me" link in my left side bar. You win the classic set of large and small oval nesties. Woohoo! I hope you all had fun. Tomorrow I'll have a sweet Sparklie challenge for you. Have a fabulous day!

One Year Blogaversary!
I can hardly believe that it has been a year since I started blogging and that was due to many of the gals in the Sisterhood swap group had started them. I couldn't be left behind and I was very curious about this blogging stuff. OMGosh! I was blown away at how easy it was to get started and the friendly interface. Back when I was in college the whole internet thing was just starting to boom and they called these sorts of things homepages. Every detail had to be coded. I remember looking up color codes to give my page some pizzaz. Now all you have to do is pick from a color box. That is sweet. BUT for those that want special features...you are still able to get your coding fix.Anyway...onto the candy...my first post used Hanna Stamps that is why I included the adorable fall Hanna. My first design team experience was The Greeting Farm, therefore the Limited Edition Hippy Anya. My title revolves around coffee and stamps "A Latte Inkin' Fun" so what better than to add a coffe themed stamp set. Some of my initial favorite papers to use were K&Company and Basic Grey(this has since expanded to Sassafrass Lass, Cosmo Cricket, and October Afternoon). I've included a 6x6 Indian Summer BG pack and a 4x6 Citronella K&C pack of paper. There's a cute little Sarah Kay stamp. A Studio G $1 stamp(For some reason I kept thinking about Homer Simpson and that donut). There is also a weathered wood distress ink that is good for adding a little dimension around the edges of cardstock(a technique I need to work on). Plus a few other goodies will be thrown in. I'll let those be a surprise.
So what do you have to do to have a chance at this Candy? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite stamp company is and how you got into blogging. I would appreciate it if you linked my candy on your blog, but it isn't necessary. My daughter will draw a name November 4th around 6pm EST. The winner will be announced the next day. Good luck and thanks for visiting my blog.

TGIF and Blog Candy
Well I had originally meant to play along with the Taylored Expressions card sketch, but didn't finish my card until yesterday. Oh well, maybe I'll be more on top of things this weekend. Anyway here is the card that I made for TECC64. The stamps are from The Greeting Farm and it is going to be for my daughter's three year birthday at the beginning of May. Sniff, sniff...sorry, I just needed a moment to wipe my eye at the fact that my baby is growing up. I love being a mom and my daughter is definitely the best part of me.I also had planned to play along with the Case of the Curious Card III over at the Greeting Farm, but I couldn't get my layout to work so I just went and did my own thing. When I saw this stamp I immediately thought of this butterfly paper from Basic Grey. So that was the color inspiration. Both cards were colored with copics and use Susie Surprise and Flutter from TGF. Thanks to the skin coloring tutorial from Janna on the Club Anya blog, I think my skin colors look much better. Thanks Janna, you rock! Now I need to work on getting better effects on other areas. Oh and now I know the markers are pronounced as cope-icks instead of cop-icks. At least I was getting the ick part right.
So how would you like to have a TGF Flutter Butterfly stamp of your very own? Just leave a comment on this post and spread the word on your blog. Drawing will take place via Random.org at 10pm EDT on May 6 my daughter's birthday.

The Greeting Farm Blog Candy and Need Winners
Many of you know how much I love creating with the Greeting Farm's stamps. Here is your chance to try them out for yourself or to add to your collection. I do not work for TGF, I just really love their products and costumer service. You may pick out any single stamp($8) from the Greeting Farm's site or as a tribute to our military you may pick the Hero($15) stamp set. A winner chosen with random.org will be picked on March 16th after 9:00pm EST. So you have until then to do the following...
1. Make a comment to this post including your best stamping tip.
2. Make a link back to this post in your blog. (if you don't have a blog just state that).
The winners of a handmade scarf by me are Karen and Susan. That was easy since you two are the only ones who posted, I got the yummy yarn this weekend and I think you two will love it. Don't worry Susan...the colors are not bright.

Things I Need and Blog Game
So what does Mary need? (go to google and type in your name followed by needs i.e. "Jane needs")
-to determine a day to work my magic (hmmm...this could be good)
-more exercise (but if I have magic can't I just poof myself skinny?)
-a booking agent (I guess once I poof myself skinny, I'll be ready for movies...maybe the next Bella)
-sleep (must be from long hours on the movie set)
-numbers (I guess I'm in high demand so the pay has to be good)
Blog Game:
Back to the blog game. The blog game is that you make and share things with 5 people who post to your blog. There are rules, but like Karen and Susan, I've tweaked the rules a bit:
1 - I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2 - What I create will be just for you, but you can give it away if you choose.
3 - It'll be done around the end of March up to Mid-April.
4 - You *can* choose what you want it to be.
5 - Share the love!
What do you get? :
A handmade card OR a hand-crocheted scarf both made by me (stamps and colors used are up to me but hints can be given)
To enter, just post a comment to this post on what "(your name here) needs" and whether you would like a card or scarf. Post by Friday, March 6. I'll draw 5 winners on Saturday, March 7.
Oh and it is snowing here! We have 5 inches so far. I'll try to take a picture before/if I go to work tomorrow. Ohioans would laugh at this snow, but for Southern Marylanders it is going to shut down the city. I'm not kidding.
