For the Man

Howdy all!!! I finally have another card to share with you. This card is for a swap group that I am in on Splitcoast. It has been a while since I have participated in the swap. When I took a work travel trip to Seattle I was able to meet up with my bud Kadie and meet for the first time, Fay from the group. They gave me the inspiration I needed to get it in gear. It just so happens that this month's theme was chosen by Fay. The theme is "Man" cards and this is what I came up with. I kept the sentiment a bit generic so that it could be used for several occassions. I hope the girls like it.

For my card, I used the sketch from Jen's Deconstructed Sketch Challenges. The image is Dunder by Doodlefactory. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie. I used Basic Grey paper and PTI cardstock. The clouds were made with a die from Amuse. I paper pieced Dunder's clothes and colored him with copics.

Diggin' for Gold

Good day all!!! I'm sooo excited for today's post because I'm sharing it with my two of my best girlies, Kadie and Sandra! It has been a looooong time since we have done a card kit and this one was sent out by me quite some time ago, but due to all our schedules it has been hard to get this bad boy posted. Today is the day though and I can't wait to see what the other girls did with their kit. What was in the kit you ask? Well there was a couple images of this boogie boy Zed from The Doodle Factory Creatures II set, a few stamped sentiments from the same set, Prima Marketing designer paper, and some embellishments.

For my card I colored Zed up with copics and placed him on Papertrey Ink Die Mat Stack #4 cut-outs. I used my white Jelly Roll pen to add the white dot border on the mat and used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to staple the ribbon. I colored the background of the sentiment with a yellow copic then free hand cut the words and matted them with black cardstock.
