Skake It Up Baby!

Good Monday morning all. Today's card is a shaker card that I made for a monthly swap on SCS with about 30 fabulous women in it. This month's theme was "Move It" and your card had to have something on it that moved. I was going to do a flip flop card, but then saw the idea for the shaker cards on SCS and thought hmmm...that would work and be fun. Plus you could call it a day for your exercise after all the shaking. LOL! I've never done one of these, but about fainted at the cost of frame tape at the LSS yesterday. It was $4.49 for a roll that might get me through three cards. So I thought that is crazy! What else can I use? I proceeded to the kids craft area and low and behold there was sticky backed foam sheets. I can now do all 6 cards for $0.99. Well and some tacky glue for the non-sticky side, but that is pennies...so $1.05 for all six cards. Plus you can use your nesties to cut it to the shape you want and you can double it up for greater height and shaking goodies like buttons and bigger beads, etc. I may have to do some shakers for Christmas because this was fun. The designer paper I used is from the K&Company Raspberry line. The stamp is from Stampingbella and colored with copics. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stoppping by.

Very pretty card! I have never made a 'shaky' card either! It's on my 'must' list ;)
Thanks for the tape/glue tips! It's always good to save pennies for more important things, like stamps, lol!

Curious though, how do you mail shaker cards? Do they go in a regular envelope or something special?
