My Funny Little Valentine

Have you seen the challenge for Farm Fresh Friday at the Greeting Farm yet? The challenge is brought to you by the fabulous Kim. Kim's "PICTURE THIS" Challenge invites YOU to incorporate a photo in your card, scrapbook page, or project. Get scrappy if you want to! Just make sure to incorporate a photo and use your imagination! Can't WAIT to see what you come up with! I know I about had a heart attack! I don't normally print pictures out and I don't do scrapbooking so this was a challenge indeed. As I pondered what to do(I was sweating bullets I tell ya), I finally thought about making a Valentine's card for DH that will be from DD. Inside I'll have a picture using one of TGF stamps that DD colored herself. I think this is one Valentine that will go to the office.

For my card I used cute little Ruby designed by the talented Club Anya DT member Amy. I colored Ruby up with my handy dandy copics. The designer paper is from Bo Bunny and the cardstock is PTI and Bazzill. I always use Neenah to stamp my images onto for coloring. I have been LOVING the ribbon pleating that Jessica has been doing on her cards. SO I thought I would look for a tutorial and try it out for myself. I found a ribbon pleating tutorial from Tif at I Heart Art. One thing different I did was to glue the pleats down so they stayed a little more flat. The XO border is done with a Martha Stewart punch.

Now go see what the rest of the Farmers and Critter Crew did with Kim's challenge. You can find the list in my left sidebar. Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

THAT is a stinking cute idea Mary!!! To do a valentines day card from Olivia to her daddy! Oh my gosh, I totally have to copy that for Syd! That card is going to melt Olivia's daddy's heart! Olivia has an adorable smile and I love how you chose to go with Ruby because when I got these Sproutlets, Syd immediately picked this one out as herself! :) Your coloring is just getting better and better Mary. Those highlights and lowlights on her face are fabulous!
