Take a Moment

Happy Valentines Day! As promised I have another Oddly Sweet Curiosity card for you today. This image is called Moments and comes with the sentiment. It is part of the Susana Loves Stamps line available in the Susana's Custom Art and Card Design shop. I used a new product to me on this card on the light blue card stock. It is the Crafters Workshop - Pebble Stencil. I think I'm going to have to play with stencils more often because I like being able to create a pattern paper in a color to suit your needs. After adding the color I spritzed a little sparkle as well. I pulled most of the papers out of my scrap box, but I do know neutral check pattern is from Bazzill Basics Kraft. Sometimes a card just needs a good neutral to help tie it all together. I colored the image with copics and added some diamond stickles to the hearts.

I am so happy that I had to opportunity to guest design for SCACD and join a super talented design team for the week. I hope you have enjoyed my creations. Have a super lovey dovey day!

Retail Therapy

Good day all! I spent yesterday with the little one who has strep. You wouldn't know she was feeling bad with as good as she ate, her activity level, and just her overall good spirited personality. She did sleep until after 9:00 am, so I hope that helped in her recovery.

I hope you enjoyed the Susanna's Custom Art and Card Design release hop last Friday. The DT really did an amazing job and I'm happy that I got the opportunity to join in on the fun. These images have been a blast to work with. Today's card uses *Retail Therapy* and is part of the Susana Loves Stamps Oddly Sweet Curiosities #4 line. For my card, I colored the image with copics and added diamond stickles to the green purse fur. For the flower I used the knob portion of the Ornate Doorplate with Knob die, a SCACD original die. I think it adds a touch of class to the card. What do you think? For the layout, I used Deconstructed Sketch #88.

Good Morning All! I have a special little treat for you today. I've been asked to be a guest designer this week for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. Yay me! Today SCACD releases the sequel to the oh so popular Oddly Sweet Curiosities!!!

This is a fun and fresh stamp Collection from Susana Loves Stamps!!! We proudly introduce the Oddly Sweet Curiosities Sets 3 and 4 which house some of the cutest little Curiosities with matching sentiments. SCACD has continued with the appeal these little Curios have that are a combination of inspiration as well as happiness through laughter the best medicine!!! Each Curiosity comes with its own matching sentiment. So pick up one or the whole set so you can mix and match the sentiments. These are Fab and definitely year around fun!!! This are available in the SCACD store now and for our international friends go to Quixotic Paperie.

For my card I used the SEW Easy image with matching sentiment. I paired him some more of my beloved Valentine's Day designer paper. He is colored with copics and I added a little paper piecing on his feet and belly for a little more detail. You can't really see it in the picture but I also put black spica pen on the cross-hairs of his button eyes. I used the Mojo Monday 279 sketch for the layout of my card.
