Clear Your Mind - Dog Gone Blog Walk

Hi all! I am your last stop on the blog hop. You are all probably dog tired(hehehe couldn't help myself) after all that typing and excitement from the talent. Well before you go, I have some words of enlightenment to leave you as you proceed with enjoying your weekend. Just read the fortune cookie under Zen Frog.

On this card all the coloring was done with copics. This great frog came from Dog Gone Stamps, the fortune cookie from Stampin' Up, and all the papers were received in a kit from my dear Canadian friend Karen(StampinKaren).

I'm glad you could join in the fun today and I hope you enjoyed my card. Do forget to return to the start of the blog walk on Lauri's blog and vote for your favorite card or if you are just stumbling on this post .

Wanna Play?

Last night I was playing with my blog trying to get a new background. Well in my attempt to do this I lost almost all my sidebar links. I was so irritated that I couldn't see straight. So please bear with me as I try and play with the appearance of my blog. In the mean time you can enjoy looking at the this card that I am making for the Bad Dog swap hosted by Lauri (Lauriloo). This stamp is from Doggone Stamps. Isn't he just adorable? I decided I didn't want to make him too bad so I went with the sentiment that you see which is a variant of "Got Milk?"

Moving at a Snail's Pace - LOL!

As promised I have a card to show you. I made this for the birthday of friend that I met on SCS and have had to privilege to meet in real life. Lindalee here is your card that is going in the mail tomorrow. Sorry it is so late. This is my first creation with a Doggone stamp. He was so much fun to color and even DH said he thought this was a neat one. It really is like pulling teeth to get a good opinion out of him. So I will take that as a real compliment. You can't see it in the picture, but I put some rain dots on his eyes to make them pop out a little. Again I need to go to embellishment school, but I just love this snail. His expression could be used for sooo much like what you may look like after turning 21 and doing the 21 bar crawl.
