Home Run

Well this is my last submission as TGF Gardener. Sob, sniff, sniff. This is Catcher Anya and she is a digital image from The Greeting Farm. I was first introduced to the Farm by Sandra(who is also a new Fall Gardener) back when it was Pink Poision. I remember drooling over the images but was also very intimidated by them because they required coloring. I really had no coloring abilities and was just starting to delve into copics since I was frustrated with using non-alcohols that peel paper and gave no blending capabilities(probably due to operator error). I think I had 10 markers around that time. THEN there was rumor of Twighlight inspired images and I knew this was one company that I would be keeping my eye on. So my first stamps from TGF was the Dress Me set which have similar images to the Twilight rumored images. Ever since then I have been head over heels about the Farm. The images stamp so fabulously and their ideas seem to be never ending. Not to mention all the fun activities they put together for their customers. So I thought I would end my DT term by creating a Twilight inspired card. Does this look like Bella getting ready to play baseball?

For this card I used my copics for coloring up Anya. The designer papers are from Basic Grey. The sentiment and flourish stamped on the red strip is from Inky Antics. I used Crazy 4 Challenges C4C4 sketch.

Thanks Marie, Jessica, and the rest of the DT. This has been a fabulous opportunity and I have enjoyed working(read as having fun) with you all. Now us Summer Gardeners get to hand the gloves and shovel over to the uber talented Fall Gardeners. Hugs and thank you for stopping by today.

Speaking of...this card is da BOMB!! I love all the blues and I especially love how you cut your square around Anya so that her head is popped up out of the square. Fabulous card! Hugs right back atcha!

Aw, sniff sniff .... Mary, you've done a wonderful job as a DT and you've done great justice to TGF with your creations. You certainly have nothing to be intimidated about as you can definitely render quite well! This card is really beautiful, especially with the blue hues. Nicely done!
