Wishful Thoughts

Just a quick post today. I created this card a long time ago and mailed it off to a friend's daughter for her  7th birthday. This card was NOT colored with copics. What was that you say? It is true. This image from CC Designs and is a part of the Swiss Pixie line. It was colored with re-inkers and an aqua pen during a visit with my besties Sandra and Kadie at Sandra's house last February. Sandra was giving us a lesson in watercoloring. What do you think? Did I pass? I have to tell you that watercoloring is a lot more time consuming and requires much more patience than using copics since you have to wait for different layers to dry. Maybe someday when my copics get used up I will try my hand at re-inkers again. Of course I could use a few more lessons and much more patience.
