Arrrrrh! Give me that treasure!

A couple of weekends ago I took this picture of my daughter. She was enjoying the wildflowers at Solomon's Island while I was practicing with my camera. We took a few of those buttercups home with us that day. She loves flowers. My baby will be turning four in a couple of weeks(wahhhh, sniff, sniff) and has decided that she wanted a Pirate themed birthday.  Last week was my turn to do the DT Rumble Challenge at The Greeting Farm blog and the challenge was to create a sweet treat package. I thought how perfect would it be to make up some treat boxes using the cute Pirate Anya from The Greeting Farm. It will hold gold chocolate coins, an eye patch, and a head scarf. To mass produce and not use up all my copics I scanned the Anya image I colored before cutting her out. Now all I have to do is print out 11 more. It should be a fun birthday.

Please also don't forget about the The Greeting Cares Card Drive. Cards must be post marked by April 30th. Help put a smile on the face of a small child or the Parents.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

First I love the picture...it looks straight from a magazine! I just adore the box! I recently discovered scanning a printing my pictures too - when I made birthday invites with my FlutterCake girl! It is Way easier coloring them all in. It takes away some of the effect but it still looks awesome!

Lastly, Thanks for the reminder on the cards for cause...I totally forgot! I have to get some made for you guys!
