Sugar Pie Honey Bunch

In a short while this year will be done and a New Year will begin. Thanks to all of you in blog land for your support, encouragement, comments, inspirations, and friendship. I wish everyone a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

Okay so onto the final sprout...this is another one of Amy's designs and her name is Stella. Isn't she just sooo sweet? I've been trying to use a different color of hair on each preview this and black used to be my hardest one until the fabulous Traci gave a tutorial on the Club Anya blog on how to do black hair. You even get to see the adorable Miss Traci in a video too. Thanks Traci! For this card I used the 11th day sketch from The Greeting Farm Blog and colored up Miss Stella with my copics. I did something a little different this time and that was to take the designer paper all the way to the edge of the card like I've been seeing in some craft magazines. Not sure if I like that look or not...at least when I do them. I think I may have to stick to adding some layers for more interest. Anyway these papers are from Bo Bunny and I added some heart shaped rain drops.

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for my first card of the year and join in on the BIG Bash going on at the Greeting Farm. You can find all the deets in my post from Monday. Thank you for stopping by. Please visit the rest of the DT for some more inspiration on this cutie.

I think it's awesome that so many of use saw stella as a black-haired beauty! LOVE IT! Your coloring is wonderful and I LOVE the DP and "Scrappier" layout, if that even makes any sense, haha. All I'm trying to say is...I {heart} ;)

Love this Sprout and love the black hair! I'm liking the look of this card overall - kind of a shabby punk look.

Happy New Year's!
