Here we go off to Grandma's House.

What a crazy morning! We are feeling Ida's effects here today. We are supposed to get 2" of rain and I think we have already received that much over night. We took DH's car into the shop yesterday to have some work done and wouldn't you know it...he forgot his badge in the car and the shop didn't open until 8am this morning. He at least stopped at Starbucks for me on our ride in to work together.

Today's card is part of a kit that was sent to myself and Sandra from the talented and super sweet Kadie. Every month one of us sends a kit to the other girls and then we all post on the same day to see how we utilized the kit. This is so much fun because we are not co-located and can not get together to stamp at a moments notice. So this is our little way to get together.

Miss Kadie sent us some very yummy paper, ribbon, and embellies. More than what I have shown here. She also sent us a few images of this cute little Red Riding Hood from The Greeting Farm's Signature set. I colored up this cutie with copics and tried to give her more of a winter feel than the traditional red cloak from the story. I also added stickles to the cloak to make it a little more festive. I also used Card Patterns Sketch #40. I wonder if Grandma is getting cookies or the coveted Holiday fruit cake? LOL. Please go visited the drool worthy talent of Miss Kadie and Miss Sandra to see what they did with their kit.
