I'm sooo excited to be starting my DT experience with Inspirational Card Sketches (ICS). I'm looking forward to getting to know the girls and be inspired by them. Just as I hope to inspire you all. This card was made for the friend of a friend whose father just passed away from Alzheimer's. My husband's grandmother also passed away from this and I know how hard this can be on a family. So I was honored that my beautiful friend Kelly asked me and several other beautiful girls to send her friend(a fellow stamper) a card to help comfort her during this difficult time.For this card I used SU designer papers from my scrap basket and Kiwi Kiss Cardstock. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink With Sympathy set. I used an EK success Fleur de Lis edge punch on the border band. This is IC Sketch #37. This is a stunningly elegant card, Mary! Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red will always be some of my favs, and that Bella Rose paper is gorgeous! The stamped sentiment is so beautiful, and a perfect heartfelt expression of sympathy. What a lovely card!!
