It is Tuesday and time for Inspirational Card Sketch #40. I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week. Also go check out the inspirations created by the rest of the DT listed in my side bar. This week's sponsor is The Pixie Cottage. Michelle is giving away 2 Pixie Cottage stamps. Woohoo!
For this card I colored up this cute Cookies and Milk image from the Fresh Brewed Designs Snow Buddy Line with copics. I added stickles to the white areas to make them shimmer. The sentiment is from Amuse Art Stamps and the paper is from K&Company, Bazzill, and PTI. I used a Martha Stewart Icicle punch to create the jagged border and my white jelly roll pen to create the faux stitching. I think this will be my card for a monthly sisterhood swap that I am in...the them is to create a Christmas card without using the red and green combo. How about Pink and Green? I think that will work.
I hope everyone is remaining healthy. DD is finally better and running around like a tot should, I on the other hand I sound like Froggy from the Little Rascals but I stayed home from work yesterday and got some good sleep in. It is amazing how much better you feel when you can get some sleep in.
I hope you all join me tomorrow for some 1 year blogaversary candy. I can hardly believe I've been blogging for a year. It has been a great creative outlet and I've met and made friends with so many inspirational people. Thanks for visiting me today.

Mary this is soooo cute!!!
Such a darling card! I'm glad you're starting to feel much better. I love all the pink!
Super cute! Love the colors and icicle punch!
This is absolutely adorable! You make the cutest cards :) Little Snow Buddy looks so happy on your card. I love the color combo too. I have been leaning more toward blue, pink, white and green this Christmas rather than the red and green traditional colors as well. I love them all though. I LOVE the icicle punch! I have not seen that one .. a must have!
When my kids had the flu last year I bought them the entire set of little rascals to watch while they were couch bound. We had fun hanging out and watching it eating Popsicles (well, as much fun as kids with fevers and were too weak to move, an over tired over stressed mommy can have anyway.. they are much more fun to watch now I must admit.) I am glad your baby is feeling better and hope you recover fast. Hugs!!
This is so cute Mary! I love pink on Christmas cards too!!

Mary, this card is sa-weet! Such a cute image, and of course I'm all about pink-n-green, or pink-n-anything LOL! Great MS punch detail! {hug}
I adore this little snowball guy, the pinks are so pretty and such a nice change from red and green.
The snow buddy line is sooo cute. Love your take on the sketch this week. :)xx
