Farm Fresh Friday - Sew Simple
Happy Friday all! Today is Farm Fresh Friday at the Farm and the theme is Sew Simple from our very own Elena. We want to see you use stitching-ANY kind will do-whether you bust out that sewing machine, stitch by hand, or even "Faux Sew", show us your threads! My stitching is on the background around the edge. It is kind of hard to see. For this card I used Basic Grey's Pink Lemonade paper. No coloring on this card, only paper piecing. You can't see it, but on the three squares and the scallops I sprayed on some glimmer mist which adds some very lovely sparkle. Of course I thought hmmm...needs more sparkle...so I added some rhinestones in with the swirlsthat were done with a cuttlebug embossing folder. For this very girly card again I found inspiration in the Paper Crafts Sept/Oct 2009 issue(very good issue). The card was by Maren Benedict and is on page 62. I couldn't find the card on her blog, but go visit it because it is chaulk full of fabulous inspiration. Have a great weekend everybody!
