To Be A Kid Again

Today was a wonderful day that started at the crack of dawn for me. I got up to get the car loaded and ready for a fun day with Thomas the Train at the historical B&O Railroad. We took our little neighbor boy and his mommy too. It took us about 1.5 hours to get there, then we looked at the exhibits, road a real Thomas the Train for about 30 min., then ate lunch, got a temporary tattoo, made a spinning paint picture, and had our faces painted. Then the kiddos napped all the wya home. What a great it was. I'll have a card or two to share with you tomorrow.

Face painting too! Oh what an exciting day! Yes, I wish I could be a kid again...except for being told "no" when I wanted something! :) Thanks for sharing pics from your fun day with us, Mary!

Oh what a wonderful day!! My sister took her kids to see Thomas last year in Branson. My nephew still talks about that as his favorite day EVER!! I know that Olivia and her little friend will have some exciting memories of your special day with them.

She's such a vision of loveliness - yes, to go back in time and be a kid again - how those times were so magical! I am so happy you loved this event - it's so fun and to ride on the REAL THOMAS must be such a thrill! Glad you got to visit the real train, too! :)

Miss Olivia is such a little sweetie! {{{HUGS}}} You are right - being a kid was the best! Even when I was little, I knew I didn't want to grow up! LOL!
Sounds like you had a wonderful day out and some good company. :D
