Honoring Heros

I've had a wonderful holiday weekend filled with family, friends, and freedom. I hope during your weekend you were able to reflect on what a great country we live in and honor those who have helped and continue to preserve what being an American is all about. This is a card I made for a monthly Sisterhood Swap on SCS using WSC81. The hostess for June is Catherine(PaperAddict) and her theme is honoring your country. I can't think of a better way to honor my country than by honoring those who help protect it, our men and women in the military. So to those in the military or who have friends and family serving in the Military and to those that have retired and are long gone...Thank You.

Skin: R00, E00, E93
Hair: E35, E39
Uniform: E31, E35
Paper: Creative Imaginations DP, GP, Neenah, The Paper Company Metallic Red

This is fantastic!! I love all the DPs. Such patriotic colors! That pale blue star paper and camo colored Ian look so great with the RW&B. And, I bet that red metallic paper looks so gorgeous in person!

Mary! OMGosh this card is amazing!!! I just love it and can't wait to see it IRL!
I missed the parade, but I did spend some time thinking of our fallen heroes. Your post says it sooo well. Regardless of the specific job they do or where and when they serve, our soldiers are exemplifying, defending and protecting all that America is. This is such a wonderful tribute.
Hugs,
Catherine
