Sweet Little Angel

I have another sweet little angel for my fellow bloggers. I made this for an Inspirational Bible Verse swap that I am in. I don't have any bible verse stamps, but I did have a very appropriate sentiment that the hostess said would be good. I colored this cute Magnolia girl with copics and put some stickles on the wings to really make them shine. I did try a bit of a new technique that I haven't done before and that is called I believe haloing is the term Sensei Sandra used. I don't know if you can really tell in the picture but the girl is outlined in a very soft blue that I blended with the colorless blender. Pink and green is one of my favorite color combos.

Oh Mary, this is beautiful! I love those colors together, and your copic work looks fabulous! This is such a soft, sweet card, and perfect for that swap. I hope I get lucky enough to get one of these! You did an amazing job on her!

Love ya!

Mary, I love the "I believe in angels" saying. Where did you get that? This is such a sweet card. I'm making a note to make cards like this one day (when I get back into stamping)... ;)

She is soooo sweet! I love the sentiment too ~ it's perfect for this card :)

The swiss dot is too - so dainty and ladylike (at least that what I think of when I see it).

It never ceases to amaze me how much that Swiss Dots folder can add to a card! I really like your sentiment and your image is so sweet! I did not know of Sensei's advice, but I also use a 30% cool grey from Prismas for the same purpose.
