Be Still My Heart

Happy New Year! It seems like it has been forever since I last posted. A big part of it has been just trying to catch up with daily life the other part was that my creative mojo disappeared. However due to a little fashion show contest hosted by The Greeting Farm, a little enabling from the very talented Sandra, inspiration from the other group talent of Miss Kadie, and the Twilight books which I could not put down over my holiday break. I read books 3 and 4 in 7 days after I put DD down for bedtime. Several nights of staying up until 2 and 3 am. Crazy! What was I thinking? I'm not a spring chicken anymore, but my were the books good and worth all the stuff I got behind on. So here is my first submission to my blog for the new year. Hopefully my mojo will stay with me and all my friends. Every since the introduction of Dress up Ian & Anya and an ealier post of a possible Edward(sigh...) and Bella similarity that is how I see the set. This card is my take on how Bella might have looked on her wedding day. Simple and elegant. I kept trying to think of something to add to the card, but could not think of any but a fancy scrawl of Edward in the border. I was cutting it close to the deadline for entries and decided it was fine the way it was. I hope you enjoy it.

Hallelujah!!!! She lives! Welcome back to the land of blogging girl! I love this card! Anya's soft chiffon looking dress is exactly what Bella would be wearing on her wedding night....for a little while at least! ;D So since I'm only on book 2....do they actually do the deed??

Sandra! I don't read and tell. Your books will be in the mail tomorrow and you will have to read book 3 to find out.

Oh Mary, this card is so pretty!! These stamps are so adorable; I live under a rock because I've not seen these before, nor have I turned a single page in a Twilight book! *sighing and hanging my head in shame and embarrassment*
