I've been promising to show my crafting spot in my basement and here it is. I'm so lucky to have such a great space. It could use some paint and maybe a few decorator elements like a big clock or a circle mirror so I can either go to bed at a decent time or see the bags under my eyes to tell me it is time to go to bed. It is like Vegas down there. I used to have some ribbon on the shelving unit where my punches are, but that didn't work so well because some of the bigger spools won't fit or the holes are too small. So I found someone who used a small basket with holes in it as a ribbon holder and that works much better. I have an Ott lamp for taking pictures. Sometimes I will put a piece of pattern dp up that will compliment the card I am taking a picture of instead of the white cardstock that you see in the picture. The top drawer of the right bin under my table has all my unmounted clear and rubber stamps in it. It is getting very full because there are so many great companies out there like Hanna Stamps, MFT, Stamping Bella, etc. Oh speaking of Hanna Stamps stop over to my dear friend Kadie's blog for some blog candy contest for a Hanna Stamp set. This room is just a corner of our basement and when I look out I can see my DD while she is playing or watching TV and I see our recumbent bicycle and elliptical exercise equipment that needs dusting. I need to stamp for 30 minutes get on the elliptical for 10 and repeat 2 more times. Then I would get stamping and exercising in. My little area is where I also do quilting. My Husqvarna sewing machine is on the floor on to the left of the table. It can easily be put on the table for sewing but that hasn't happened for a looooooong time. I do use my huge table mat and quilt rulers and rotary cutter for cutting out cards. I get a more precise cut that way. I hope you enjoyed your tour of my little retreat.

NICE space, Mary! So huge and spacious - so much creatitivy and imagination happening in your craft area :) We want to come play in your stamp room! WOW!
Oh my goodness, Mary!! Your space is beeeeeautiful!! I wish my space was sooooo lovely and organized. Will you stop by and help me??? :) Thanks for the shout out about my contest! You rock, girlfriend!
OH I am beyond jealous!!!!!
I'm so happy you have this little space though, so tell the truth.. is it always this tidy?????? huh?huh?
Wow! Mary, this is such a great stamping spot. I'm envious of your ink pad storage unit. How cool is that. I've thought of sharing pictures of my stamping space but right now it looks like a tornado went through it! OK, you've inspired me to get some cleaning done. Pictures to follow much later!
When I am in the middle of making something it is not this tidy. Right now I have stamped images all over my table. I always have to clean before I start a new project though. So this was cleaned right before stamping my images.
What a lucky girl you are! Your craft area looks great! My area usually looks like a tornado hit - LOL!
I wanna come and play at your house! What a great area and so so many stamps! I green with envy. Thanks for sharing.
